Impey UK, designers and manufacturers of innovative shower and wetroom solutions, returns to KBB this year to showcase its ultimate collection in wetroom floor formers, plus their latest range of wetroom shower screens.
Impey UK introduced the concept of flat floor wet rooms into the British market back in 1998 with their Level-Dec walk-in shower system for those with limited mobility, and from this concept grew the national award winning Aqua-Dec wetroom floor former.
A revolutionary product design that enables the quick and easy installation of a wetroom shower floor; the concept is simple, a pre-formed 22mm thick shower base that slots into the existing floor to provide an instant sloping shower floor. And because the gradient is moulded and computer designed to give a 17mm fall efficient drainage is guaranteed, plus you can barely notice the slope.
The Aqua-Dec is suitable for wooden and concrete floor installations and is available in a wide range of shapes and sizes, plus once the shower zone has been tanked with the Tilesafe water proof membrane the shower zone can be finished with almost any type of tile.
A natural progression of the Aqua-Dec has been the brand new LinearFlo-Dec, which combines all the exclusive features of the Aqua-Dec with the look and feel of an up-to-the-minute wetroom design. The principles of the LinearFlo-Dec remain the same, but it features a contemporary linear drain - specifically intended to satisfy the growing demand for ultra-modern contemporary bathroom designs.
Cre-8 shower screens are the latest offering from the company and are the only screens on the market designed specifically for use within a wetroom.
The exclusive frameless designs from Impey will compliment any contemporary bathroom. They feature a unique height-adjustable shower foot - the ‘Twin-Fit' floor fitting; to permit the screen to be located in various positions within the shower zone and to make the best use of any space available. 8mm toughened safety glass and Aqua-Shield ‘Stay Clean' technology also come as standard.
The Cre-8 screen range is available in several different designs, including flat panels, curved screens and enclosure configurations.
Ben Grave, marketing director for Impey UK, says: ‘We're really pleased to be back at KBB. It's an opportunity for us to showcase our products in a bigger and better way than ever before, on our latest and most impressive stand to date.'
