A brand new adjustable bypass valve has been launched by Altecnic for use in central heating systems. The eres valve is designed to prevent the pump from working against a closed circuit when all the control or thermostatic radiator valves are closed.
It ensures a flow recirculation proportional to the number of valves closed, while limiting the maximum differential pressure generated by the pump. And like all Altecnic products it is built to high standards for maximum performance.
An eres bypass valve can be fitted in any position, respecting the flow direction indicated by the arrow on the valve body. In systems with a traditional boiler it is normally fitted between the system flow and return ends, which allows the control of the pressure and the passage of a minimum flow through the heat generator. In systems with a condensing boiler, it is preferable to fit the valve directly between the upstream and downstream sections of the pump.
Eres is easily fitted and commissioned. Adjustment is by means of a calibrated cap, which can be easily turned by hand. What could be simpler?
