Leading electrical manufacturer, Micromark launches Firehold, a new range of downlights that are fire and acoustic rated to maintain the integrity of the ceiling. Suitable for both residential and commercial premises, the new range also includes IP65 versions suitable for bathrooms.
The range meets all the relevant building regulations that require the fire rating of a ceiling is maintained after the downlights are installed.
All Firehold downlights feature a formed steel body, intumescent seals and a die cast aluminium fascia. Installing Micromark Firehold downlights is now even easier as they eliminate the need for fire hoods and thereby saving on installation time and cost. In addition, their acoustic qualities helps reduce noise travel between floors.
