With the arrival of the LC8K950B, leading kitchen appliance manufacturer Siemens is introducing a totally new concept in extractor hood design. Model LC8K950B is striking in appearance: instead of a traditional horizontal canopy, this extractor boasts a trend setting angled glass canopy design to ensure that it soon becomes the focal point of any new kitchen installation.
The benefits of the design are twofold: firstly it means no more inadvertent bumping of heads; it also has the added bonus of allowing you to cook on the hob below at much closer quarters.
Although this hood is particularly powerful in performance (max. extraction rate of 640 m3/h), it manages to operate at an extremely low noise level of just 40 decibels, making it the ideal choice for large open plan kitchens where conversation is constantly flowing!
Electronic push button operation is within easy reach both for the lights and for the power settings on this appealing new hood.
An automatic run on facility is featured on the LC8K950B to ensure that all lingering odours are removed even after cooking has ended and an integral reset option allows the hood to automatically revert back to a normal setting, from the intensive setting, after a specific period of time has elapsed.
Designed for wall-mounted installation, this 90cm wide stainless steel chimney hood has a height adjustable chimney section and is suitable for ducted extraction only.
