Available with most Franke sinks with 31/2” wastes, the stainless steel basket strainer waste collects food and debris which may clog and damage pipework, while letting liquids pass through, enabling the consumer to simply empty the plug into the bin.
In addition, the grid of the flange can be rotated when fitted to give smaller slots if required, again preventing debris from passing into the pipework, increasing the function of the unit.
The design of the basket also means that – in the unlikely event of water seeping below the flange – it is still contained within the unit, rather than leaking into the cabinet below.
